Throughout the campaign, along with prizes from raffles and the like, we hold weekly draws for $50 gift cards to a merchant of your choice.
*** Gift cards are a taxable benefit, and we must advise Payroll who wins. The addition of a $50 winning may or may not make a difference to your T4.

If you donate your winnings to a charity other than United Way, there will be a standard administrative fee applied of 10% of the total donation, to a maximum of $100. Which means $5 of your $50 prize will go toward admin fees and $45 will go to your chosen charity. If you donate to United Way, there is no admin fee. |
3 - A gift card to any of the businesses through support local BC |
If you choose this option, you don't need to specify what store you'll be supporting. We would send you a generic support local gift card via email. You can then choose the local business you would like to support.
