Bike to Work Week roll out
Interested in joining the Bike to Work Week fun but don’t want to ride alone? We have you covered!
Getting Started, Ride Together
Meet at the reader board on Tuesday, May 28 at 4:30 p.m. to 'roll out' and ride towards home together. Depending on the area you live, there might be someone who can bike most of the way home with you! If not, we encourage you to come join the fun and ensure you get a chance to be in the group photo being taken at 4:40 p.m.
Helpful resources to help you map your route
- Google maps has a great feature that allows you to plan your biking route with easy-to-use instructions on how to do this. Additionally, use these instructions for additional information.
- The CRD has created a helpful bike map complete with comfort ratings for bike routes
If you want to participate in the group 'roll out' but are wondering how to get your bike to work that day, consider taking BC Transit and trying out their easy-to-use bike racks. For instructions on using BC Transit bike racks, please visit their website. Alternatively, if you know someone with a bike rack, ask them to drop you and your bike off at work in the morning.
Don’t forget to join the RRU Roadies BTWW team by emailing us with the subject line 'sign me up'.
