Diversity Action Group: Anti-discrimination through storytelling

On Wednesday, March 16th, RRU's Diversity Action Group is excited to present their second event this year - Anti-discrimination through storytelling. This event is in recognition of the United Nation’s Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21).

All RRU students, faculty, staff and the public are encouraged to join this forum to broaden their dialogue on the multiple forms of discrimination (e.g., ethnic, religious, gender, class, sexual orientations, disabilities, age, etc).

Through storytelling, we will hear about lived experiences and actions for combating discrimination. What can each of us do to raise awareness and make positive impact on RRU’s campus and beyond?

MC: Ining Chao

Speakers: Students, staff and faculty

Date: Wednesday, March 16th

Location: Learning and Innovation Centre, Centre for Dialogue, 4th floor

Noon to 1 p.m. – Storytelling (feel free to bring your lunch)

1:00 to 1:30 p.m. – Open floor storytelling, questions and mingling

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be available via Livestream.
