Inspiring Connections Alumni Learning and Leadership workshop
1277 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver
Beyond Brainstorming: Transforming ideas into solutions
As an RRU alumnus, you’ve told us you’d like to continue learning, to network with other alumni and to apply your learning to make positive change in the world. Join us Monday, June 2 for an Inspiring Connections Alumni Learning and Leadership workshop and dinner to learn and practice an approach to creative problem solving, while helping out a community organization, the North Shore StreamKeepers.
RRU Assistant Professor Amy Zidulka and MBA alumna Alecia Greenfield will co-facilitate a Creative Problem Solving (CPS) workshop, which will focus on how to transform creative ideas into viable solutions. You will use the CPS methodology to work with the North Shore Streamkeepers Society, in helping them address the challenge of compliance around good environmental policy in the district. You will leave the session having acquired CPS tools and having assisted in protecting the local waterways of the North Shore.
During the workshop deepen your network as you work and eat together.
The event is open to all Royal Roads alumni, current students, and others who may be interested in seeing the Royal Roads learning model in action – encourage your friends and colleagues to join us.
We invite you to register for this event online. Tickets are $34, plus GST, and include the workshop, dinner and a beverage. Seating is limited to 40 people, so please book early. We look forward to seeing you there.
