Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a student in a foreign land? Join us for a facilitated conversation with a panel of international students speaking about their experiences in a classroom in their home countries. Through sharing perspectives, we seek to understand the different values, attitudes, and practices that a diverse student population brings to our teaching and learning culture. This will be a wonderful opportunity for staff, faculty and students alike to learn about the cross-cultural differences that make international education unique.
Starting with an interactive game of Barnga, a classic simulation game that highlights cultural differences, participants will explore intercultural and diversity issues while playing this fun and simple card game.
