Mindfulness, the simple act of being fully present, offers one of the most powerful tools for cultivating and sustaining a healthy mind.

Bring your lunch and join Patricia Galaczy for this introductory session, a precursor to our 8 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course starting in February*. Explore the basics of mindfulness practice and simple techniques proven to help reduce stress, regulate emotion, improve relationships, calm the body, and settle the overwhelmed mind.

Cost: By donation to Victoria Cool Aid Society - Learners must register to reserve a seat

*Our fall offering of MBSR sold out so don't miss your chance to learn more. Contact Continuing Studies at 250.391.2513 for more information and to register for the lunchtime talk on January 21 and 8 week MBSR program starting in February.
