Are you a core or associate faculty member and you’d like to learn more about giving feedback on student writing? We invite you to attend this lunch and learn session, either in person or online. Jo Axe, director of the School of Education and Technology, will speak to why she changed her approach to giving feedback on writing, the process she used to make the changes, and the benefits she’s realized, such as saving time during marking. Theresa Bell, Writing Centre manager, will provide information and examples, as well as highlight Writing Centre resources that can help faculty members give efficient and effective feedback. Finally, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their own best practices.

We hope you’ll join us on March 27 in the Centre for Dialogue in the LIC or online at https://livestream.com/royalroads! The session will start promptly at 12 p.m. PST and will be finished by 1 p.m. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Theresa Bell or Jo Axe.
