"Moodle: Editing and Enhancing" is a half-day workshop which gives participants a hands-on opportunity to explore editing a Moodle course, adding and updating course activities and resources.

Who should take this workshop:

  • Faculty members who have taken "Moodle: Getting Around (or are already confident in those workshop topics) and are ready for more Moodle learning

  • Faculty members who have a development contract to build a course for Royal Roads or are preparing for one in the future

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Add and edit many common Moodle resources and activities

  • Move, hide and duplicate Moodle resources and activities

  • Add media, such as videos and photos, to your course

  • Explain the role RRU’s Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) staff take in supporting you in course development and teaching

Feel confident in knowing how to do most or all of the items on this list already? If you will be teaching in Moodle soon, you may wish to take our “Moodle: Grading and Reports” workshop. Ask us about our next offerings or self-study resources.
