Join us in celebration of our 75-year legacy of life-changing learning on Saturday, October 17 at Royal Roads University. On this special evening, we pay tribute to Royal Roads’ heritage and build new pathways for student success.
The festive event includes a champagne reception with live and silent auctions in Hatley Castle and dinner and dancing in the traditional Quarterdeck ballroom.
Proceeds from the event will be matched by the university to encourage and support passionate, outstanding students to fulfill the dream of life-changing education.

Alumni and ex-cadets tell us their Royal Roads experience changed their lives.
In the process of personal, professional and academic growth, they also discovered their own capacity to positively impact the lives of others – in the workplace, in the community, within their families and on the global stage.
We are establishing a bursary to provide new opportunities for outstanding students to carry Royal Roads’ traditions forward.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 toward an endowed award with funds up to $75,000 matched by the university. The resulting 75 Years of Changing Lives Bursary will offset tuition costs for an incoming undergraduate or graduate student.
This year, Royal Roads celebrates 75 years of learning and leadership – 55 years as a military college and 20 years as a public university. Our anniversary celebrations kicked off with a spectacular, traditional Sunset Ceremony in April, and continue throughout the year with new events and time-honoured traditions for alumni, ex-cadets and staff.
