Reconnect is an opportunity for Royal Roads graduates to return to campus to reconnect with the place, the people and the purpose of their educational journey. Join graduates, friends, family and Royal Roads faculty and staff for this special event.

President’s Welcome
with Allan Cahoon, PhD

75 Years of Changing Lives Story Project launchHear about the gathering and telling of life-changing stories from the last 75 years as shared by Royal Roads University and Royal Roads Military College alumni, staff and faculty. We'll also be asking you to consider making your own submissions.

A Conversation on Leadership
An intimate conversation about leadership with honorary degree recipient General (retired) Walter Natynczyk facilitated by the Honourable Mary Collins PC.

12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Hatley Castle

Castle activities include:

  • Our affinity partners will be on hand, offering photos, frames and rings for purchase.
  • Free castle tours on the main floor.
  • Heritage gardens open all day – see the newly renovated loggia in the Italian Garden, the renovated bridge leading to the Japanese Pavilion and the restored Rose Garden walls.
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Sneq’wa e’lun (Blue Heron House)
  • Tea and bannock in the gathering place by the ocean
  • See Royal Roads’ first totem carving in progress with logs salvaged from the property.

Reconnect receptions and networking

Graduates reconnect with their cohort as well as faculty and program staff who supported them during their academic journey
