RRUSA and Student Services invites you to a get-together event
This year, Student Services and RRUSA have collaborated to host an event which provides great opportunity to celebrate the multiculturalism and cultural openness that shapes Canada. It’s time to get together for one of our most anticipated event of the year: our 5th annual Holi Festival also known as Festival of Colours. New this year, the festival will also include kite making and flying and a RRUSA Lunch and Learn event.
11:30am – 12:30pm: The RRUSA is hosting a Lunch and Learn event showcasing different positions and duties of the Royal Roads University Student Association. Come and enjoy the positive learning experience about the student's voice and great food
12:00pm onwards:Kite flying is a popular spring event in Grenada, as elsewhere across the Caribbean. Being one of the traditional festivals, it is a time for families to come together. Flying a kite made by your own hands will make you smile!
12:15pm – 1:30pm: Holi is also a festival of colors, forgiveness and new beginnings. It is one of the most exhilarating celebrations in many Asian countries, welcoming thousands of people every year. During this event, participants throw colored powder and celebrate wildly. Come throw some colors and enjoy great Indian snacks. Please wear a white T-shirt for the Holi festival
The event is open to all the RRU students, staff and faculty. We look forward to seeing you there!
