TeamsWork Session 3: Designing & Evaluating Effective Team Assignments

On Nov. 30, the final of the 3-part TeamsWork series on teamwork and team assignments will take place, facilitated by Michael Pardy. Michael will introduce recommendations for designing effective team assignments that support performance outcomes and social and knowledge processes. From this framework, he will discuss strategies for assessing teamwork and will provide specific examples of modified team assignments, assessment tools and technologies.

Please bring a team assignment from your course/program to the workshop, as you will have the opportunity to modify it and gain feedback. If you don’t have a team assignment to bring, there will be some samples provided to work on.

This workshop will take place in the Centre for Dialogue in the LIC and will also be available online and recorded via livestream. A light lunch wil be provided afterwards.

If you did not attend the first two sessions of the TeamsWork series, please review them on livestream, prior to arriving at the Nov. 30 session.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact B.J. Eib or Sarah Chettleburgh
