Royal Roads’ 21st annual Mother’s Day Paint-In and Craft Fair welcomed approximately 3,000 visitors to the lawns of Hatley Castle to enjoy vendors, crafts, music and food. Mothers and family members were also invited to tour Hatley Park National Historic Site’s heritage gardens, castle and museum. CTV Vancouver Island News was on site and caught up with Vice-President of Communications and Advancement Katharine Harrold.
Here is an excerpt:
“Royal Roads has a big impact across the country and around the world through our students, faculty and graduates,” says Harrold. “But we also have an impact here on the Westshore, so this is a wonderful way to embrace the community and welcome everyone in.”
