Christie on the royal visit

School of Humanitarian Studies Prof. Kenneth Christie was interviewed by Sarah Petrescu of the Times Colonist about increased security tactics during the upcoming royal visit and opportunities for the public to catch a glimpse of the royals.

“There will likely be heightened security. They don’t publicize routes,” says Christie. “It’s unlikely they’d be travelling in an easily identifiable car, such as a Rolls-Royce. It would be more likely a discreet armoured Range Rover.”
