Christie on Saudi arms deal and North Korea

School of Humanitarian Studies Prof. Kenneth Christie was interviewed by CFAX Radio’s Terry Moore about the current state of affairs between the U.S. and North Korea, as well as the apparent Saudi use of Canadian-made armoured vehicles against its citizens.

Here is an excerpt:

Speaking about North Korea, Christie says, “There are no good options in this scenario, there’s only the least bad option. Donald Trump is saying he’s prepared to go to war with North Korea if it continues on its path.”

On the Saudi arms deal, Christie says, “That would put Canada in violation of its arms trading rules because it cannot trade arms which are then used against civilians or citizens who may be in opposition against their government.”
