Flower count launches at Hatley Castle

CTV News and the Goldstream News Gazette reported from the Woodland Garden of Hatley Park about the March 4 launch of the Greater Victoria Flower Count. The annual event, which began in 1975, attracts participants from across the region. It runs March 6 to 13.

In last year’s flower count, 3.4 billion blossoms were reported for Greater Victoria. The City of Colwood, at 2.24 billion, won bloomingest for the fifth straight year.
