Krusekopf on retaliatory actions in softwood lumber dispute
April 27, 2017
School of Business Director and Prof. Charles Krusekopf was interviewed by Times Colonist reporter Andrew Duffy about the softwood lumber dispute between Canada and the U.S. and the consequences of participating in retaliatory action.
Here is an excerpt:
“If Canada decided to limit its exportation of oil to the U.S., the Americans could just look to the international market to make up the difference,” said Krusekopf. “It seems to me, that in that sense, Canada’s actions are fairly limited.”
