Newell to share virtual urban planning research

School of Environment and Sustainability researcher Robert Newell was featured in the Squamish Chief Nov. 11. He is leading a virtual urban planning research project and open house at Quest University.

Here is an excerpt:

The project, done in collaboration with Quest University, has been underway since early 2018 and is currently at the stage where Newell and his team can share it with the public. […] The interactive visualizations, which can be experienced from the first-person perspective, allow users to walk through different community development scenarios.
