‘A welcoming Grande Prairie’ basis for exhibit

MA in Intercultural and International Communication student Tymmarah Zehr is combining art and research to help the City of Grand Prairie, Alberta welcome newcomers to the community. She spoke with the Grande Prairie Daily Herald-Tribune in advance of an art exhibit to gather feedback. The work on display was created by local artists based on the experiences of people who had recently moved to the community. During the exhibit people will be able to view and work and fill out a short survey on their reactions. The exhibit doubles as research for Zehr’s thesis titled "Collectively Building a Welcoming Grande Prairie."
