Beginning at 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 5, electrical power to the campus will be temporarily shut down to enable campus project work to be completed. This outage will affect the entire Royal Roads property until approximately 2 p.m. Following that outage, power on the west campus will continue to be out until approximately 8 p.m. Full power will be restored to the entire campus on the evening of June 5.

All services and building access during the outage will be closed including the Recreation Centre, library, Habitat Café, the Hatley Castle gift shop, museum and visitor services.

For the safety of visitors and members of the Royal Roads community, as well as electrical contractors and other project team members, you are encouraged to avoid visiting the campus during this outage.

Royal Roads staff and faculty are asked to shut down and unplug all computer equipment prior to leaving the campus on Friday, June 3. Royal Roads IT staff will liaise with staff in each building to ensure that equipment is appropriately unplugged.
