Beaver is also in the final stages of completing his documentary on the demise of FOI (Freedom of Information) and the Duty to Document. Funded by Canadian Institute for Information and Privacy with the InterPreres Project and through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the documentary is a collaboration with former School of Communication and Culture instructor Jeff Orr. In addition, Beaver's new dramatic mini-series, Discipline, about a disgraced psychiatrist, is in development with Screen Siren Pictures (Indian Horse, Canada in a Day). The project was recently selected by the Canadian Media Producers Association as part of a delegation project in Los Angeles seeking international co-production partners.
