Better Parenting in the Digital Age

David Black, associate professor in the School of Communication and Culture, gave a talk to a group of 25 parents of children attending the Lansdowne Cooperative Preschool on the topic of "Better Parenting in the Digital Age" on Tuesday September 9.

Part of a series of education events at the preschool, the talk addressed current research on the consequences of digital media like laptops, smartphones and tablet computers for the development of children aged 0-5 and the parent-child relationship in the home.

Several babies were also in attendance.
