Campus progress updates

University Drive roadwork

Upgrades to campus services continues to move north along University Drive, currently concentrated near the entrance to P3. Managed by flaggers, the southbound lane from the roundabout to the Boathouse is servicing both north- and southbound traffic during the work week between the Boathouse and the roundabout at P3.

Safety first! Keep yourself and others safe by slowing down and driving carefully.

Obey the posted speed limits and watch for flaggers directing traffic.

Hatley Castle walkways

Restoration work of the brick pathways around the Castle and in the Italian Gardens continues during April. The pathways are being restored with careful consideration of the historical look and impact on the surrounding gardens.

Campus lighting

Exterior lighting along the University Loop from the Boathouse to the Recreation Centre is operational.

West Campus deferred maintenance

Work around the old swimming pool and Recreation Centre continues, with upgrades to campus services (power, data, water, drainage, and lighting).  Please be mindful of construction trucks and workers over the next few weeks.

Staff and students are reminded to drive safely and watch for flag people while this work continues.

Parking infrastructure

Improvements to campus parking infrastructure continue. The expansion of P7 (adjacent to the Sherman Jen building) and EV Charger and accessible stalls adjacent to the outdoor classroom are expected to be complete by the end of April.
