University Drive Roadwork

Upgrades to campus services on University Drive is expected to move further north next week.  The section between the four-way stop at College Drive to Grant will begin May 1. Flaggers will manage single lane traffic in this section, Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be complete by mid-May.  Please drive safely during this time and give yourself an extra few minutes in the morning to get to work and class.

Safety first!

All staff, students and visitors to campus are reminded to obey the posted speed limit and watch for flag people who may be directing traffic.

Safe driving is essential to eveeryone's wellbeing.

Campus Core

Over the next couple weeks as part of the campus horizontal upgrades, a new generator will be installed between the LIC and Nixon buildings. This will involve a change to the smoking area currently behind Nixon, which will be relocated to the Gazebo between Grant and Nixon. The Cannabis only area is by the Security shack near P3. We expect this work to be complete by mid-May. Please travel with care between LIC, Nixon and Grant while this area is under construction.

Hatley Castle Walkways

Restoration work of the brick pathways around the Castle and in the Italian Gardens is expected to be complete by the end of next week — in time for wedding season!

West Campus Deferred Maintenance

Work around the old swimming pool and Recreation Centre continues, with upgrades to campus services (power, data, water, drainage and lighting).

Parking Infrastructure

The EV Charger and Accessible parking lot at Sherman Jen is complete and in use!

Data Services
