It is fall and change is in the air! Career Learning and Development team has welcomed many new exciting staffing changes over the summer.

In June, Helena Prins joined Career Learning and Development (CLD) from Contract Training, contributing her knowledge of student experience, passion for career management and her warm personality to supporting the ever-growing Master of Global Management (MGM) internship students.

We are also excited to welcome back “home”, Chris Brown! Chris is bringing back his love of students and his passion for supporting their career and internship journey. Chris’s initial focus is supporting the double-cohorts of MGM internship students.

CLD also welcomes Nilou Vikili, who is replacing Landa Houliston for a one-year maternity leave.  Although we are all a bit sad to see Landa leave, we are excited for her, and very thrilled to welcome Nilou. Nilou brings in a breadth of experience in career guidance and experience working with students. Nilou will balance her time between all of School of Tourism & Hospitality students and general career services.

We also welcome Lina Guo to CLD, who joins us from the School of Communication and Culture. Lina joins the CLD team in the newest role of Job Developer. Lina’s experience working with community and her enthusiasm to connect with employers will revitalize the CLD community engagement, providing new opportunities for students.

These great teammates have joined forces with Danielle McCann, CLD Advisor to humanitarian studies and online internship students, Alison Barr, CLD Advisor to MAIIC internship students, BJust practicum students and general career services and Natasha Dilay, CLD Manager.
