Cecelia David - United Way loaned rep

Your United Way Campaign team is thrilled that Royal Roads University has supported a loaned representative for the 2015 campaign - thank you Darrell Pettyjohn, Lynn Joly, Steve Grundy and Allan Cahoon for your support. Cecelia will be working with the United Way from August 24 to December 11, 2015. During the campaign people are "loaned" to the United Way - Cecelia will be representing Royal Roads while working with the United Way and will assist some very lucky people in raising funds to support our local community. In the words of the United Way:

"Over the course of this 16 week, full time program, candidates provide support, guidance and inspiriation to more than 400 United Way workplace campaigns across the region. By participating, your company will benefit from public recognition as a committed donor and community supporter. At the same time, your employee, working under the supervision of a professional United Way fundraiser, will develop valuable skills, including sales and customer service, teamwork and interpersonal, public speaking and leadership."

We are going to miss Ceceila, although she has promised to still help us with our campaign start up, but we congratulate her and we are excited about this great opportunity for her personal and professional growth. Watch out United Way of Greater Victoria - here she comes!
