As a follow up to this announcement made on April 29, 2019, the Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) is pleased to announce an upcoming change to the way Moodle courses appear on the dashboard. As of July 9, 2019, users will see their courses in three tabs:

  • Past: Shows all courses that the user is enrolled in that have passed the course end date.
  • In Progress: Shows all courses that the user is enrolled in that are currently running (includes ongoing courses such as program pages, etc.).
  • Future: Shows all courses that the user is enrolled in that haven’t yet started. Please note, students will not see future courses.

Previously, all courses appeared in the "In Progress" tab, whether they were past, current or future courses. Now, with separate tabs for past, current and future courses, users will be able to find and access the courses they are looking for more easily. This change will be implemented on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

If you have questions, comments or additional feedback regarding Moodle, please feel free to connect with us via CTET Studio or speak with your instructional designer.
