Christie discusses Rwandan genocide on CFAX
Prof. Ken Christie, Program head for Human Security and Peacebuilding discussed the anniversary of the Rwandan genocide with Terry Moore on CFAX 1070 on Wednesday, April 9. The genocide which targeted the minority Tutsi group by the Hutu's was one of the most horrific in recent history and the focus was on how Rwanda has changed in the 20 years following the massacre. Christie who has supervised masters students working in Rwanda on restorative justice, visited the country and its genocide memorial in 2011.
