Christie presents at conference/Middle East

Prof. Ken Christie presented a paper with two co-authors, Emma McTavish and Haval Ahmad (both graduates of Royal Roads Human Security and Peacebuilding Program) at the thirteeenth annual Association of Middle East and African Studies conference held virtually in Washington, DC between 18-20 November 2020. The paper was titled "The defacto Autonomous Governance and stability in the Middle east: The case of the Kurds in Rojava".

Christie also acted as a discussant on another panel entitled "Tools of War in the Middle East."
