Climate change conversations continue
Echoing President Steenkamp’s gratitude, we wish to thank you for joining us at the Sept. 13 Campus Conversation about climate action at Royal Roads University.
It was such a wonderful coming together of hearts and minds across our university community. As promised, here’s the Visual Report our team at the RbD Lab designed as a summary of the session and all the amazing suggestions for action that were generated. Let’s build on the momentum and energy generated in the Campus Conversation to explore next steps.
We hope that those of you who are passionate about moving ideas into action will join us for a follow up dialogue-workshop to explore creating one or more working groups on specific ideas or a combination of ideas. We have scheduled that workshop session to take place November 5 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in LIC213. The session will be co-facilitated by Robin Cox and Hilary Leighton and all staff, students or faculty are welcome. Some hot beverages will be on hand but as this is a “brownbag” affair, please bring along your lunch.
To help us plan the session and ensure we have enough space, please RSVP if you’re able to join us. All you need to do is send a quick email with the subject line “continuing the conversation” and we’ll add you to our expected list.
