CTET welcomes Ken Jeffery

CTET team members are pleased to welcome Ken Jeffery as he joins the Learning Design team as an instructional designer. Ken is a Royal Roads University MALAT alumnus and he is excited to return to campus. He comes to us from BCIT, where he spent ten years as an instructional faculty member teaching graphic design, and providing lab and instructional support to a two-year diploma program in the graphic arts. He is an interested and active voice in the open education movement, having co-authored and edited the open textbook Graphic Design and Print Production Fundamentals, and is currently serving as a 2017 BCcampus Open Education Faculty Fellow. Ken is very interested in advancing educational development, and in technological advances that enable rich collaboration and constructive environments for today’s learners.

A lifelong Vancouver resident, Ken has often yearned to move to the island, and he now looks forward to calling Victoria home. With his “homecoming” to Royal Roads, he is eager to get started in CTET and contribute to the Royal Roads community. Ken will take on duties in learning design as well as faculty development. Please join us as we welcome Ken.
