The Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) hosted the first pedagogical values micro-session focused on the theme “Co-creation: Students as partners” with facilitators Dr. Jean Slick and Dr. Sophia Palahicky. The session on Jan. 30 was a huge success and the 36 participants were engaged, enthusiastic and eager to learn more about the topic.

You can view the livestream recording and experience the rich discussions and wealth of information shared in the one-hour session. Please see the Moodle OER site for the session presentation, handout and additional resources.

Specifically relevant to teaching and learning at Royal Roads are the pedagogical values that form the foundation of the Learning, Teaching, and Research Model (LTRM), namely: applied and authentic, caring and community-based, and transformational.

If you are a faculty member (core or associate) interested in co-facilitating one of these micro-sessions, please contact Sophia Palahicky. Stay tuned for our next session that will be hosted in the spring.
