RRU's Diversity Action Group wants to remind you that March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The United Nations proclaimed the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in 1966 as a day where the international community can join together in an effort to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination. We therefore ask each member of RRU to consider how your role in your respective communities can help contribute to this effort.

What is one simple thing you could do today? Visit the stand up for someone's rights campaign and take the pledge. Want to tell us what you are doing to eliminate racial discrimination? Post something on the Student Services Facebook page.

The Diversity Action Group (DAG) champions inclusivity and the full participation of all members in the life of the university community. DAG raises awareness, informs and educates the university community on the experience of people from diverse backgrounds, highlighting issues and creating opportunities to explore these. DAG works to promote and manifest the values described in RRU's Diversity Statement

The DAG is open to all members of the university community. To learn more about how to get involved, contact Asma-na-hi Antione or Kyla Mcleod.
