DBA welcomes Kim Poduch
Kim Poduch is the new program coordinator for Royal Roads' Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and will start on Sept 23.
Kim joined BCom as a program associate in June 2016 and played an instrumental role in Royal Roads' first-ever TEDx event. She has a BCom degree in human resource management, and brings a range of diverse experiences from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN) and the University of Guelph. As head of administration and special project manager, Kim facilitated IHN’s institutional accreditation with the Ministry of Advanced Education, and also spearheaded the development and launch of a new culinary program. She is passionate about higher education, leadership, change facilitation and social innovation. Kim’s recently returned from a maternity leave spent with her ever adorable daughter, Lilian Rose. She looks forward to joining the DBA as Royal Roads continues to contribute to the advancement of the Canadian and global knowledge economy through impactful research, education and dialogue.
A big thanks to Lisa Winbourne, who has been coordinating the DBA program and taking care of countless details over the past several months. Lisa’s initiative, energy and organizational skills have laid a strong foundation as we gear up to launch the program in January 2020.
Under the leadership of Dr. Hassan Wafai, DBA program head, this new doctoral degree is already making waves in post-secondary as the first program of its kind in BC, offering business professionals the opportunity to produce leading-edge research with real-world impact.
Please warmly welcome Kim to this new DBA program coordinator role!
