Diverse, Democratic, and Daring Leadership

The School of Leadership Studies invites you to this exciting webinar on April 8, 2021 from 10:30am to noon with Mme. Annamie Paul, the first Black Canadian and first Jewish woman to be elected leader of a federal party in Canada.

Diversity, Democracy, and Daring – these are the leadership values expressed by Mme. Annamie Paul, the most recently elected leader of a Canadian federal political party. As Canada begins the slow transition out of this global pandemic, these values are needed now more than ever to co-create a more just, compassionate, and sustainable future.

Join us as Mme. Annamie Paul discusses her leadership values, experiences, goals, and perspectives in conversation with RRU President Philip Steenkamp and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Scholar and Leadership Associate Faculty member, Rebeccah Nelems. After her opening remarks, Mme. Paul will respond to questions from School of Leadership Studies students and alumni. Time permitting, participants will be invited to small group conversations.

Hosted by RRU’s School of Leadership Studies, this is the next webinar in the “Leading in Extraordinary Times” series. Note that this webinar will focus on leadership rather than partisan politics and questions will be vetted in advance.
