DSocSci student publishes book

Doctor of Social Sciences student Melissa Rothwell has published a book with co-author and colleague Kelly Mazerolle. The book The Mentors Among Us: Cases in the Human Services will be released in spring 2018 by Canadian Scholars Press.

The book features candid stories from front-line workers in the human services field across Canada. It is designed for introductory courses in human services and is accompanied by a companion website with resource material.

Rothwell is the program head for both the Community Mental Health and Child and Youth Care programs at Lakeland College; Mazerolle is the program head for the Early Learning and Child Care program at Lakeland College and has taught in human services for 16 years.

Congratulations to Melissa on this accomplishment!
