Eiffel Tower night pics are copyright breach

That stunning photo you've just taken with your iPhone of the beautifully-lit Eiffel Tower at night on a romanic trip to Paris?  Better not post that to Facebook or Twitter.

The European Union copyright laws include a clause that make it illegal to publish nighttime photos of some public buildings.  While the same photos are fair game during the day, the night is a different story.  Still, the clause is vague and the onus is on the owners of the buildings to reinforce it, so many building owners don't bother opting-in.
