Flag at half-mast Apr. 28

Cindy MacDougall

Our national flag will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, Apr. 28 to recognize the National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace (Workers’ Mourning Day.)

Workers, families, employers and communities come together each year at ceremonies held around the province to remember those who have lost their lives on the job, and to renew a commitment to creating healthy and safe workplaces.

Visit dayofmourning.bc.ca for more information.
