The Great British Columbia ShakeOut is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safer during big earthquakes. The ShakeOut has also been organized here at RRU for staff, faculty and students to review earthquake protocol and emergency preparedness plans.

When is it? October 20 at 10:20 a.m.

"Drop, Cover, and Hold On."

To get you started, here is a short informative clip on Personal, Family and Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness featuring Brock Henson, Saanich emergency program co-ordinator and graduate of the MA, Emergency and Disaster Management.

Look for more information in next week’s Crossroads so that all departments on campus can prepare for the Great ShakeOut.
