At 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2015, Royal Roads University will join other organizations around the province and North America in the internationally recognized drop, cover and hold on protocol for up to 2 minutes. All participants will be asked to:

This is an opportunity for you and your colleagues to practice what to do in the event of an earthquake.

We want to see your participation and so we are inviting all staff to enter our selfie contest; take a picture while you are holding on and submit to Jennifer Paulus by 5 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015. All entries received will be entered into a draw to win a prize. One prize per 50 entries. Winners will be announced in Crossroads on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

If you have students on campus we ask you to encourage them to also participate in the drill.
