Haiku and Continuing Studies in the news

Terry Ann Carter, Continuing Studies facilitator and the author of four collections of lyric poetry and five chapbooks of haiku, was interviewed last week by the Goldstream Gazette. Carter, the founder of Haiku Arbutus, a group of local haiku poets, is an instructor of Japanese literary forms and small book making here Royal Roads, in addition to being president of Haiku Canada. Carter and haiku poet Carole MacRury, will be hosting the Haiku Canada conference this coming May.

In speaking to her upcoming Continuing Studies courses, Carter says "...As a poet and a paper artist, I am interested in going ‘beyond’ the page. These workshops offer a respite and a pause in order to make art."
