It’s been a beautiful week of fall sunshine and we’ve seen Halloween come and go. As a new month begins, it’s a great time to engage in restorative practices that allow us the space to reflect. The days are short and the weather is cool. It’s the perfect time for soups and stews, walks in the forest, and snuggling up to read a book or watch your favourite show on Netflix.

November is a nice time to decompress before things ramp up again for the holiday season. There are many Christmas craft fairs to visit throughout the month as well as yearly holiday traditions downtown such as Father Christmas in Old Town at the Royal BC Museum, the Festival of Trees and the Island Farms Santa’s Light Parade.

Don’t forget a year membership for staff and faculty is only $65 ($67.20 with tax)
