Interdisciplinary and carbon free
For the month of May, Ann Dale and Jaigris Hodson are taking part in a unique conference. The conference is called “Climate Change: Views from the Humanities” and the conference is hosted entirely virtually in order to keep a low carbon footprint. Conference participation occurs throughout the month of May as conference attendees use online comment threads to host discussions. Ann and Jaigris have given their talk via video presentation, as have all the other presenters, and are excited to be a part of this forward thinking and environmentally sustainable event. They’re presenting an interdisciplinary look at how environmental studies, systems thinking, and digital media studies can be combined to create actionable solutions to climate change communication issues. The presentation, and the rest of the conference can be accessed at this link until May 25, 2016.
