Pull together, Royal Roads! 

Join the National Indigenous Peoples Day 2019 Canoe Challenge team on the waters of the Esquimalt Lagoon June 21.

Canoe Challenge and practices

To participate, you must be able to attend the Canoe Challenge June 21 and a Saturday practice session on any one of the following days (or more if you’re keen!):

  • May 18 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
  • May 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • June 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
  • June 15 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The registration deadline is June 9.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us with a variety of NIPD activities. 

National Indigenous Peoples Day 2019 is hosted by the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, the University of Victoria, Camosun College, the Victoria Native Friendship Centre, Indigenous Perspectives Society, ISPARC, Power to Be, VanCity and Royal Roads University Indigenous Education and Student Services.
