Judges needed for mini case competition
Do you like Dragon's Den? Would you like to try your hand at being a Dragon?
If so, your next opportunity is the week of April 14, 2014, when the BCom program once again will be holding another Mini Case Competition, and as always we like to engage the RRU community as judges of our students' case analysis presentations.
If you are (a) able to read a case in advance, and (b) are available for one or more of the times listed below, please contact Samantha Wood (email@example.com) so we can ensure the event is put into your calendar!
- Monday, April 14, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Case #1)
- Tuesday, April 15, 3:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. (Case #2)
- Wednesday, April 16, 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Case #3)
- (Good) Friday, April 18, 11:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (Case #4)
Please note that Case #1 is a 'practice' case with less prep time for the student teams (90 min), and the feedback is formative/supportive, with a casual, large-group feedback session with everyone at the end. Case #2 and #3 are the competition-standard case with three hours of prep time, and Case #4 allows the teams a full 24 hours to prepare their wonderful presentations.
No prior judging experience is required; we have built in time prior to each set of presentations to go through the case and the scoring rubric.
