The Kelly Outstanding Teaching Awards recognize core and associate faculty members who are representative of outstanding teaching at Royal Roads. Leading up to the 2019 awards presentation at Campus Conversation on November 27, we will highlight nominees (in alphabetical order) via a special profile on their teaching philosophy.

The nominee profiled this week is Guy Nasmyth.

“When I facilitate learning I try always to remain aware that those who are looking to me to inspire learning are all individuals and they will all construct their own meaning. I see my job as planting seeds of new knowledge that each learner will have the opportunity to use in her own unique process of meaning-making.
