The Kelly Outstanding Teaching Awards recognize core and associate faculty members who are representative of outstanding teaching at Royal Roads. Leading up to the 2019 awards presentation at the November 27 Campus Conversation, we will highlight nominees (in alphabetical order) via a special profile on their teaching philosophy.

The nominee profiled this week is Kathy Bishop

“At the core of all I do is: “How can I be of greatest service to learning and leadership?” Creativity, mastery, and omnidirectional mentorship are key values. As an educator who recognizes different ways of knowing (through words, numbers, images, sounds and gesture), I utilize creative methods to enhance learning and teaching.”
