The Kelly Outstanding Teaching Awards recognize core and associate faculty members who are representative of outstanding teaching at Royal Roads. Leading up to the 2019 awards presentation at the November 27 Campus Conversation, we will highlight nominees (in alphabetical order) via a special profile on their teaching philosophy.

The nominee profiled this week is Rita Egizii.

“I believe teachers are enablers, facilitators and designers of learning. I embrace the diversity, knowledge and experience our learners bring into the classroom and encourage interaction, engagement and co-learning between, amongst and alongside one another in a collaborative learning environment.”
