The Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) is pleased to announce the launch of the Moodle to the Max Project, made possible through the collaborative efforts of the entire team in CTET.

Over the course of the next year, we will feature and promote six of our favorite Moodle activities through various channels, such as Crossroads, school meetings, workshops, CTET Studio events and more. We will feature one activity every two months in the hopes of inspiring RRU core and associate faculty to build on innovative teaching practices by expanding their adoption, knowledge and usage of Moodle.

Featuring Moodle Choice in April and May

Our first featured activity, for the months of April and May, is Moodle Choice. The Moodle Choice activity is a simple but effective tool for asking poll-style questions of learners in Moodle. Choice has a wide range of applications to support community building, learning activities, assessment, course evaluation, course management and more. Watch a short two-minute video about Moodle Choice for a preview of what this activity has to offer:

Would you like to learn more about the Moodle Choice activity and try it out for yourself? We have created a Moodle to the Max Demo Page in Innovate Now where you can learn more about the tool and its pedagogical applications, as well as try out sample activities. All faculty, associate faculty and staff should already have access to the Moodle to the Max Demo Page in Innovate Now. Explore the Moodle to the Max Demo Page on your own or at our upcoming Campus Coffee event on April 5 at 10 a.m. in the Castle Drawing Room. If you are having difficulties accessing the Moodle to the Max Demo Page, please contact CTET Studio.
