Angela Sasso looks at the advantages of a global lifestyle for community interpreters in her article "Lifestyle: Tourist | Citizenship: Global - Community Interpreters at the Cusp of a Postmodern World", published in MultiLingual, an online magazine focusing on intersections of language and business. "Perhaps a little loss of national identity, a frequent change of city and connection to a migratory diaspora is exactly what community interpreters should attempt," Sasso writes. The article is an outcome of the Public Culture class that is part of Sasso’s Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication program at Royal Roads.
